Trainer of the Black Galaxies, Didi Dramani, is optimistic about his team’s chances as they face Nigeria in the Championship for African Nations (CHAN) qualifiers on Sunday.
Ghana will host their West African rivals at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, December 22, 2024, before traveling to Nigeria for the reverse clash.
The team has been camping for the past few weeks, intensifying training for the upcoming match.
Preparations have included friendly matches, with the Galaxies recently beating Togo 2-0 on December 11.
Didi Dramani’s side also secured back-to-back wins over Nania FC and Northern City in two preparatory matches at the GFA Technical Centre.
“We are physically, technically and tactically well oriented. Once the days come by, we still continue to refine and to do small adjustment and give the alternatives in the game,” He told GhanaFA media.
“I’m very positive that come Sunday, we should be fully ready. As for preparation, we are okay, we are already there but we have to be ready for the game.”
The CHAN tournament will be staged in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.
