Hearts of Oak head coach Didi Dramani has outlined Ghana’s expectations for the upcoming FIFA World Cup, stressing that progress beyond the group phase is non-negotiable.

The former Black Stars assistant was reacting to the official World Cup draw in an interview with Akoma 87.9 FM.

Ghana have been drawn in a tough group featuring England, Panama, and Croatia.

The group presents a blend of established heavyweights and opponents eager to make an impact.

Despite the challenge, Dramani believes the Black Stars have a solid mix of experienced internationals and emerging talents.

Dramani said Ghana have enough quality and experience to compete strongly at the tournament.

“Our main objective at the World Cup should be getting out of the group,” Dramani stated.

“The head coach brings a lot of experience, and several of the players have already played at this level. That experience gives us an advantage, and I am confident we can do well.”
