Hearts of Oak head coach, Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, is optimistic that the club’s transfer ban will be lifted soon.
The ban was imposed by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) due to an outstanding payment of $70,000 to New Edubiase United for the transfer of midfielder Salim Adams.
Despite the challenge, Dramani remains optimistic, saying, “I’m very positive. In the long run, it’s all about monetary imbalances that will be taken care of.”He added, “I’m hoping that at the end of the day, the club will fulfil their obligations and will be free to do their business.”
With a new two-year contract in place, Dramani aims to turn the club’s fortunes around after a disappointing 2024/25 season.
He’ll lead the team against Asante Kotoko in the 2025 President’s Cup on Sunday, followed by a trip to Nigeria for the Eko International Cup.
Dramani’s positivity suggests he believes the club’s management will resolve the financial issue, allowing them to operate freely in the transfer market.
With a fresh start ahead, Hearts of Oak hopes to bounce back stronger under Dramani’s leadership. The team’s upcoming matches will be a crucial test of their abilities.
