Brighton & Hove Albion defender, Tariq Lamptey is set to play his first game in front of Kumasi fans as a Black Stars player.
The right-back was included in coach Chris Hughton’s maiden Black Stars call-up ahead of 2023 AFCON qualifiers against Angola.
The 22-year-old was part of Ghana’s 2022 World Cup squad in Qatar where he played two matches as the country exited from the group stages.
The Black Stars will host the Southern Africans on March 23rd at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Tariq has made 20 appearances for Brighton in the English Premier League this term.
