Defender Tariq Lamptey reacts to Brighton’s defeat at Manchester City

Black Stars defender Tariq Fosu Lamptey has promised that Brighton will “continue to work” following their 3-1 loss to Manchester City in the English Premier League on Saturday.

Lamptey came into the game in the 46 minute to replace Adam Lallana as his side were beaten by in-form Pep Guardiola’s City.

Erling Haaland  scored a brace in the 22nd and 43rd minutes respectively with Kevin De Bruyne netting the Premier League Champions’ third goal.

Leandro Trossard, however, grabbed the only consolation goal for Brighton.

Lamptey said on his social media page: “The work continues, thank you for the support as always.”

The youngster is looking forward to be named in Ghana’s squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
