Defender Tariq Lamptey wore the Black Stars jersey for the first time against Brazil on Friday evening.
The Brighton and Hove Albion player recently officially switched nationalities after months of speculation. Lamprey visited Ghana earlier this year and was spotted at the stadium when Ghana played Nigeria.
Lamptey is a key player in the Seagulls outfit, he has made five appearances in the Premier League this season. He did not feature in Brighton’s thrashing of Leicester City.
The 21-year-old completed a permanent transfer to Brighton & Hove Albion on 31st January 2020, signing a three and a half year deal.
He made an impressive debut for the Seagulls in his first Premier League start, a 0–0 away draw against Leicester City on 23 June.
