Defender Samuel Inkoom granted three-week break to resolve ‘family matter’

Defender Samuel Inkoom has been given a three-week by Hearts of Oak and expected to return ahead of AS Real Bamako clash in the CAF Confederation Cup in October.

Kickoffghana.com understands the former Black Stars right-back was given the weeks off to sort out a ‘family matter’.

Inkoom will therefore miss three matches – Bibiani Gold Stars, Kotoku Royals and Karela United, in the Betpawa Premier League 2022/23 season.

The 33-year-old featured for Hearts of Oak in their 1-0 defeat to Aduana FC at Nana Agyemang Badu Park and the Ga Mantse derby which ended 1-1 at the Accra Sports Stadium.

He was then relegated to the bench at the Baba Yara Stadium in the draw with rivals Asante Kotoko.

Inkoom will resume training with the playing-body and be ready for AS Real Bamako on October 14.
