Black Stars defender Mohammed Salisu has returned to training with Southampton following Ghana’s group stage elimination at the World Cup.
Salisu joined his teammates in England at training on Wednesday ahead of the return of the English Premier League.
He was at his peak at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar for Black Stars who exited from the tournament in the group stage.
He became the first Ghanaian defender to score at the World Cup after netting in the win against South Korea.
The 23-year-old played in all three matches for Ghana as the nation amassed three points.
Salisu has made 14 Premier League appearances this season and has an assist to his name.
