Ghanaian defender Joseph Aidoo has joined La Liga side Real Valladolid on loan from Celta Vigo until the end of the 2024/25 season.
This move comes after Aidoo struggled for playing time in the first half of the season, making only one appearance in the top flight
Aidoo’s season was further complicated by a long injury layoff, which he recovered from before the start of the season.
Despite his expectations to fight for a starting spot, things didn’t go as planned, and he’s yet to start a game in the league
The move to Valladolid presents an opportunity for Aidoo to regain his form and get regular playing time.
Valladolid currently sits at the bottom of the La Liga table with just four wins and 15 points from 21 games
He’s already begun training with his new teammates, preparing for their upcoming La Liga clash against Villarre
