Burkina Faso defender Edmond Tapsoba has snubbed Ghana in selecting his favourites to win the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
Drawn into the tournament’s Group D, Burkina Faso will play its opening match against Mauritania on Tuesday, January 16th, alongside Algeria, and Angola.
“The Africa Cup of Nations is special for us,” Tapsoba said in an interview with ONTime Sports.
“We are stronger than we have been in previous editions because we have improved a lot in every position.”
“There is no small team. I can say that Morocco, Senegal, and Ivory Coast will have a higher chance of winning the tournament than other participating teams,” he concluded.
The tournament will kick off on Saturday 13th of January to 11 February.
