Black Stars defender Daniel Amartey put up a spirited performance for Besiktas in their 2-1 against Hatayspor in the Turkish Super Lig.
Amartey lasted the entire duration of the game and was rated 6.1 by sport website sofascore.
S. Killisoy opened the score in the 38th minute to give the visitors the advantage before Omar Colley doubled the tally in the 53rd minute which sealed the victory.
Hodzic Armin pulled one back in the 80th minute but wasn’t enough for the host to secure a point.
The 29-year-old center back has featured five times since returning from injury and made 14 appearances in all competitions.
Amartey is expected to make Ghana’s final 27-man squad that will be representing the country at the Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast next month.
