Ghana defender John Boye admits he has no idea which country would progress alongside Ghana in Group B of the 2013 Nations Cup.

The Black Stars have drawn in Group B together with 2012 bronze medalists Mali, minnows Niger and DR Congo.

Ghana last won the Nations Cup over three decades ago and the current crop of players have fixed their sights firmly on breaking the jinx.

However, France-based center-back John Boye, says the four-time champions must approach the competition with a tough mentality.

“All the countries coming for the tournament would come to win so we have to be really prepared both physically and mentally,” he told Ghanasoccernet.com

The 24-year-old believes Niger and DR Congo could give a challenge for the second ticket in the group.

“I’m confident that we can easily sail through and to come along with us, I think Mali but anything can happen because its football, Niger could also pull a shocker.”
