Defender Boye expects Ghana victory Malawi

Ghana defender John Boye is confident the Black Stars will beat Malawi to qualify for next January’s Nations Cup in South Africa.

The four-time African champions will take on Malawi in a crucial second-leg qualifier in Lilongwe on Saturday.

Malawi must overturn a 2-0 deficit they suffered at the Accra Sports Stadium in September to book just their third Nations Cup appearance.

But the Stade Rennes center-half insists the 2010 World Cup quarter-finalists will shutter the dreams of the Southern Africans.

“I’m very sure that we will beat them. Though they haven’t lost at home for sometime but there is first time for everything,” he told Ghanasoccernet.com.
