Clement Foot defender Alidu Seidu has resumed training after recovering from a knee injury.
He has begun running on the field and expected to rejoin his teammates after the international break.
Seidu was on the sidelines for several weeks after suffering a horrific injury in Clermont’s encounter with Lille.
The versatile defender has been key for Clermont Foot 63 this season, making 20 appearances in Ligue1 before suffering the injury setback.
Seidu was part of Ghana’s squad at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, making two appearances as the Black Stars exited the competition at the group stage.
He will miss the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Angola this month in Kumasi and Luanda respectively.
