Ghanaian defender Alidu Seidu’s outstanding performance over the weekend was recognised as he was named in French Ligue One Team of the Week.
The 23-year-old played a vital role in Clermont Foot 0-0 drawn game against Lille at home on Sunday.
The intriguing clash was an end to end action from both clubs but ended up producing no goals after the ninety minutes of acton.
Alidu has played 12 games for Clermont Foot on the ongoing campaign with an assist.
They currently sit 17th on the league log with 11 points after playing 15games.
