Black Stars defender Alidu Seidu has jetted off with his mother to France ahead of his unveiling as Rennes new signing in the French Ligue 1 campaign.
The Ghanaian defender will complete his move from Clermont-Foot FC after completing medicals.
The deal was completed days ago with an amount of €11 million.
The 23-year-old defender has featured 14 times for Clermont-Foot this season.
Alidu was part of Coach Chris Hughton team that represented Ghana at the Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Ivory Coast.
