The 19-year old who is playing in his second Nations Cup has struggled to win over fans in Ghana despite clearly being hugely talented but he says he will see every game as a chance to help Ghana reach far and hopefully continue to prove that he deserves his chance at the highest level.
“I have always said I don’t allow criticism to get me and it didn’t after that game against Ivory Coast. I think as a footballer, you simply must concentrate on playing your football, work on making mistakes and forget the rest,” he told KickOffGhana.com.
Dede went a long way in winning over some of his critics with a fine performance that earned him the man of the match award but like most players in the side he knows the difficult part of the tournament is yet to come.
