Ghanaian international David Abagna opened his scoring account for his new side Al Hilal SC as they defeated Cameroonian side Coton Sport 2-0 in the CAF Champions league.
The former Real Tamale United midfielder netted for the Sudanese giants in the 41st minute after four matches in the continental competition.
Makabi Lilepo doubled the lead for Al Hilal from the spot with seven minutes remaining.
Al Hilal climbed to top of the table after four games with Al Ahly and Mamelodi Sundowns yet to be played.
Abagna joined the Sudanese giants’ Al Hilal in the second transfer window from Ghana Premier League side Real Tamale United .
