Ghanaian businessman Daniel McKorley has expressed his keen interest in acquiring Nottingham Forest, a Premier League club.
Dr. McKorley has been a devoted fan of Nottingham Forest since their time in the English third division, and it holds a special place in his heart as the only club he supports aside from Olympics.
“The only team I support in the world apart from Oly [Great Olympics] is Nottingham Forest,” stated Dr. McKorley.
As the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the McDan group of Companies, Dr. McKorley revealed that his primary motive for considering the purchase of the English Premier League outfit is his deep affection for the club.
Moreover, he sees this as an opportunity to contribute to the promotion of Ghanaian football.
“McDan buys Nottingham Forest, and every time you see about 60% of the players [in the team] from the English league are from Ghana,” he Joysports.
