Ghanaian forward Daniel Afriyie Barnieh scored the opening goal for FC Aarau in their 2-0 win over Xamax in the Swiss Challenge League.
Barnieh, who joined FC Aarau this summer from FC Zurich, started and played the full match, netting the first goal in just 14 minutes.
This was his third consecutive strike for the club.
Henri Koide sealed the victory with a stoppage-time goal, showcasing the home team’s dominance.
Barnieh has been impressive for FC Aarau since the new season began, scoring three goals in three appearances after three matches.
