Dani Alves wants to buy a Portuguese club

Currently a player of the UNAM Pumas in Mexico after leaving FC Barcelona last July, Dani Alves (39) wants to express his entrepreneurial soul. According to the Portuguese newspaper Record, the Brazilian defender with an immense career would like to buy the Portuguese third division club, Amora, located not far from Lisbon (about 20 kms). This D3 formation is 75% owned by the Spanish group Odemira Capital.

The former PSG player is part of a team of investors who want to tackle this project. Discussions have already taken place with José María Gallego, businessman, president of the SAD and majority shareholder of the Portuguese club, even if they are at a minimal stage for the time being. It’s also unclear if Dani Alves wants to take over the whole club or a part of it.
