Tottenham Hotspur slipped out of the Premier League’s top four with a 2-0 loss to Aston Villa on matchday No 17. Now, Spurs need a win to end a two-game winless streak and reignite hopes of a top-four finish.
On Wednesday, Tottenham will visit Selhurst Park to play Crystal Palace. Patrick Vieira’s Palace are 11th in the standings and coming off a 2-0 away to Bournemouth. The victory ended a two-game losing streak for the Eagles.

Spurs need to improve their defence immediately. Even with Hugo Lloris and Cristiano Romero back in the team against Aston Villa, goals were conceded. Tottenham conceded at least two goals in each of their last seven league games ahead of the trip to south London.

Spurs are not playing well but should be able to overcome Crystal Palace away from home. Tottenham are unbeaten in back-to-back road games and should edge Palace 2-1 at full-time.
