Crystal Palace manager Patrick Vieira has praised Jordan Ayew in reaction to the forward’s performance in their 2-0 win over Bournemouth on New Year’s eve.
The Ghanaian international broke the deadlock early in the game before Eberechi Eze added a second to seal what turned out to be a convincing display at the Vitality Stadium.
The 19th minute strike was Jordan’s first goal of the season in the ongoing Premier League campaign.
“We have some really nice players with a really good attitude, working hard in training. But to win football matches, you need to be a little more competitive and hopefully that will be something we will develop quickly,” Vieira said after the match.
“Today, when you look at the front four, Wilfried, you look Jordan, Michael and Ebs, everybody was committed and that is why we had a very good performance,” he added.
