English Premier League side, Crystal Palace, are plotting a move for Ghanaian teen-sensation Issahaku Abdul Fatawu, kickoffghana can exclusively report.
The Eagles view the Sporting CP winger as the ideal replacement for Michael Olise who is getting closer to an exit at Selhurst Park this summer.
Sporting don’t have the player in their plans for the season, and have set a €15M price tag on the 19-year old.
Spanish club Real Valladolid are also keenly monitoring the situation but will have to battle with Crystal Palace, who have more financial muscle to get the signing done.
The London-based club consider Fatawu a cheap option with potential to fight for a place in Roy Hodgson’s squad this season.
Fatawu came through the ranks of Steadfast FC before joining Sporting CP in the summer of 2022. He joined their Under-23 team at first and in a few month’s time, he was promoted to their first team.
He has featured in a total of 12 matches for their first team and has bagged an assist. Fatawu has also been involved in 13 matches for their B team and has contributed towards three goals.
