Injured FC Porto midfielder Christian Atsu says he cannot wait to return to the pitch.Â
The talented midfielder is undergoing treatment for an ankle injury he picked up two weeks ago during a league.
Atsu is said to be making progress in the treatment room according to the club’s doctors.
The 20-year-old on Tuesday afternoon took to Twitter to express his desire for a quick return.
He posted on his official Twitter account: “I miss football.”
Atsu has been one of FC Porto’s reliable men for the season having made 14 appearances and scored one goals.
He featured at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa where he won one Man-of-the-Match award.
