Croatia: the official compositions

Published: 3 years ago
La Liga

This Tuesday is the first semi-final of the 2022 World Cup, with an attractive duel between Argentina and Croatia. The Albiceleste established themselves in a 4-3-1-2 with Emiliano Martinez in the cages behind Nahuel Molina, Cristian Romero, Nicolas Otamendi and Nicolas Tagliafico. Leandro Paredes is placed as sentry to Rodrigo De Paul and Enzo Fernandez with Alexis MacAllister a notch higher. Finally, Julian Alvarez accompanies Lionel Messi in attack.

For their part, the Vatreni opt for a 4-3-3 where Dominik Livakovic officiates as the last bastion. In front of him, Josip Juranovic, Dejan Lovren, Josko Gvardiol and Borna Barisic form the defense. Positioned as a sentinel, Marcelo Brozovic is supported by Luka Modric and Mateo Kovacic. Finally, Mario Pasalic and Ivan Perisic take the corridors while Andrej Kramaric is alone in the lead.
