Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Comas has opened up on why he decided to stay with the Bundesliga giants amid being linked with Premier League clubs.
Coman signed extended his stay with Munich as he renewed his contract expiring in 2023 until 2027. Speaking to the media, the winger has revealed his family united convinced him to remain at the Allianz Arena.
“I have everything here, so I don’t have to look elsewhere,” Coman told Sport 1.
“FC Bayern are like a family. When you get as much help as I did, especially after my heart surgery earlier in the season, you obviously want to give something back. You want to fight and do everything for the people who support you.”
The 25-year-old was reportedly the subject of interest from Chelsea and Manchester United throughout 2021 but signed a five-and-a-half-year extension at Munich.
