Coach Slavko Matic slams Hearts of Oak fans for disloyalty to club during ‘struggling times’

Hearts Of Oak trainer Slavko Matic has slammed the club’s supporters for not being loyal on the back of their patchy run of form.

The Phobians recorded a 3-1 victory over Berekum Chelsea at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday.

Prior to the win, Hearts had gone four matches with one victory which triggered criticism from the supporters.

“I am very disappointed with our fans, very, very,” Matic said.

“We need supporters. Somebody who will support 90 minutes team. Not only when we celebration. It is very easy to celebrate but when we struggle, when we fight, somebody needs to support these guys.

Hearts of Oak move to second, four points adrift of leaders, Aduana Stars (32), whom they face in their next encounter.
