Hearts of Oak head coach, Samuel Boadu is expected to take over the U-20 male national team from current trainer Abdul Karim Zito.

The position is an upgrade of his initial role as the coach of the national male U-15 side.

The 36-year-old will be assisted by former Ghanaian international Jacob Nettey.

The team is set to travel to Spain for camping and to engage in a couple of friendlies for synergy and cohesion.

Coach Zito’s squad failed to defend the WAFU Zone B trophy in this year’s championship as they lost to Burkina Faso and Nigeria.
