Prosper Narteh Ogum has formally submitted his resignation to Asante Kotoko SC and is no longer their headcoach.
The letter was accepted after meeting with the Board in Accra on Monday.
He still owes the club two months salary in addition to bonuses for leading the Porcupines to the Premier League title.
The path is now clear for Kotoko to announce the appointment of a new head coach ahead of next season.
It remains to be seen who the new coach becomes but the club have been busy in the market for their continental and domestic campaign with pre-season scheduled to take place in Turkey in the coming weeks.
