Coach Prosper Narteh confirms Asante Kotoko exit

Ghanaian tactician, Prosper Nartey Ogum has officially confirmed that he is no longer the head coach of Premier League giant Asante Kotoko.

The highly-rated gaffer excelled while in charge of the Porcupine Warriors club last season. Eventually, he guided the team to finish the campaign as champions of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season.

Shockingly out of nowhere, it came to light that the gaffer has decided to leave his post over some misunderstanding.

While many did not believe it, it became clear that Coach Prosper Nartey Ogum will leave the club when sources confirmed a few weeks ago that the coach has already told the management of Asante Kotoko that he is resigning.

Although there was a meeting with the board, efforts to get the former WAFA SC coach to change his mind did not work.

After a crunch meeting today, both the management of Asante Kotoko and Coach Ogum agreed on how his compensation and salary arrears of two months will be paid.

Subsequently, the coach tendered in his resignation. This evening, the coach has edited his Twitter bio to confirm that he is no longer the head coach of Asante Kotoko.
