Ghana coach Otto Addo has handed invitations to 29 players for the friendlies against Brazil and Nicaragua.
After recently changing their nationalities to represent Ghana, Tariq Lamptey (Brighton), Inaki Williams (Athletic Bilbao), Stephan Ambrosius (Karlsruher), and Ransford-Yeboah Konigsdorffer have all gotten invitations.
The team included one home-based player in Hearts of Oak forward Daniel Afriyie Barnieh after starring for Ghana in the CHAN qualifiers.
On September 23, Ghana take on South American foe Brazil in France’s La Havre before traveling to Spain three days later to take on Nicaragua.
The friendlies are to get the team in shape for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, to be staged in Qatar later this year.
