“I am satisfied because to play a game like the one we played tonight, on such a difficult pitch, is no mean feat. We conceded too much at the start of the second half, but I liked the guys’ reaction. Gaining the third consecutive useful result testifies to the fact that we are growing. We are integrating the new players, improving both in terms of movements and physical condition and trying to maintain a certain balance, because this is what makes the difference in the end”. These were the words of coach Davide Nicola in the post-match of Bologna – Salernitana.
The coach then concluded: “I like the humility of the boys, who have the target of becoming an important team by improving day after day. We’re working on adapting to more than one formation and from this point of view I think the response tonight was very comforting”.
