Bibiani Gold Stars head coach Michael Osei has expressed his displeasure about the quality of refereeing in his side’s draw again Hearts of Oak on Saturday.
Gold Stars played 1-1 drawn game against the Phobians at the Duns park in a week seven of the Ghana Premier League.
Appiah McCarthy scored an incredible free-kick in the 81st minute to put the home team ahead but Martin Koopman’s side equalized in the 90 + 2 minute thanks to Hamza Issah who headed home from close range.
Speaking to the media after the game, Michael said he was not happy with officiating stating that his side didn’t deserve the draw against the Phobians.
“How I saw the game, it was a clear foul against my goalkeeper , it was a clear foul, he pushed him but I don’t why they allowed this goal but all the same it was a fine game and I really appreciate the performance of my team , it was a very difficult game.
“Hearts of Oak was also good but we were the better side to win the game because we deserve the win and then we score a perfect goal and then such a goal comes but then if such things are going on then it is a big problem for Ghana football.”
Bibiani Gold Stars sit 10th on the league table with nine points.
