Black Meteors headcoach Ibrahim Tanko, has shared his thoughts on his side’s clash with Algeria in the CAF U23 Championship qualifier.
The U-23 Ghana side will clash with the North African giants in the first leg tie at 1956 Stadium in Annaba on Friday.
Ghana is hoping to advance to the U23 Championship and fight for a place to play in the next Olympic Games which will be staged in Paris.
Speaking to the GFA media ahead of the game Tanko is optimistic that the Ghanaian team would pick a good result in Algeria.
” We are doing well and we are ready for the game against Algeria today. And we are hoping for a good result today.
” We know our opponents well and looking at my boys and how positive they are in camp we are anticipating for something great from the game today” he stated
The match is scheduled to kick off at 9pm.
