Coach George Boateng calls on Ajax to give Mohammed Kudus playing time

Black Stars assistant head coach, George Boateng, is calling on Dutch giants Ajax to give Mohammed Kudus more playing time.

The youngster has struggled for playing time from the start of the season despite an impressive pre-season.

The 22-year-old netted four times  but has played just 29 minutes in the Eredivisie without starting a match.

“All we would like to have is for Mohammed Kudus to play more games,” George Boateng said in an interview with JoySports.

“In terms of Kudus, we don’t know the ins and outs of everything but all we do know is there has been an interest from a different club from the UK. I think he is developing very well.”

Kudus was reported to be keen on a move to Everton but Ajax turned down an offer from the Premier League side.
