Head Coach of Black Satellites Desmond Offei has attributed his side’s gold-winning glory at the African Games to “good player selection”.
Jerry Afriyie’s last-gasp strike against Uganda handed the Black Satellites victory in Accra, crowning an outstanding performance for the U20 team.
“We knew what we were looking for when we were selecting players for the Black Satellites,” he told Asempa.
“l can say good selection help us achieve what we are all praising now.”
Desmond took charge of the outfit in September 2023 and there is growing optimism of his continuity at the post.
