Black Stars new trainer Chris Hughton has remained tight-lipped on alleged player selection interference into the national team.
Hughton was unveiled on Monday to the public in Kumasi as the new gaffer of the senior national team.
He signed a 21-month contract with the Ghana Football Association which elapses in December, 2024.
At his unveiling, questions about interference from the corridors of power at the FA resurfaced but Hughton remained coy.
“I can’t speak to what happened in the past…I am the Head coach now.”
Hughton’s first game in charge of the national team will be against Angola at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on March 23 in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
