Coach Ben Fokuo names Black Princesses final squad for U-20 Women’s World Cup

Coach Ben Fokuo has named 21 Black Princesses for the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Costa Rica.

The squad includes three goalkeepers, six defenders, seven midfielders and five attackers.

The team will be captained by Evelyn Badu, with Mukarama Abdulai serving as the General-captain.

Boaduwaa Doris, Jafaru Rahma, Nyama Cecilia, Suzzy Teye, Sharon Esinam Sampson, and Owusu Jacqueline have all maintain their spot in the team for the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup in Costa Rica.

Grace Anima and Comfort Yeboah did not make the cut despite being part of the qualifiers.

 

 

The tournament has been scheduled to start on August 10th to 28th August 2022.

The Princesses take on the United States of America in their first game on 11th August before subsequently facing the Netherlands and Japan in group D.
