Karela United coach Abukari Damba has attributed his side’s victory over Asante Kotoko in the Ghana Premier League to clinical finishing.

The Pride and Passioners secured the three-points in their matchday 20 game at the Nalerigu Sports Stadium after a 1-0 victory Asante Kotoko courtesy Giyasu Ibrahim second half strike.

“I did indicate to you that the last kicks of a dying horse are very powerful. I think my players of course did demonstrate that, we worked hard towards this but I must also say Kotoko…they are very very good side.

“They distinguished themselves very creditably just that we did the needful by scoring the goal.”

After recording the victory, Karela United are now on the 15th position on the Ghana Premier League table with 21 points after 20 games.
