Asante Kotoko have received a $300,000 offer from an unnamed club for attacker Albert Amoah.
The 23-year-old forward impressed in the just-ended Ghana Premier League campaign, scoring 12 goals in 25 appearances.
Amoah’s performance has attracted interest from clubs in Africa and Europe.
According to Kessben FM, the unnamed club is ready to make the offer for his signature.
However, Asante Kotoko are hesitant to sanction a move for Amoah due to their upcoming CAF Confederation Cup campaign.
The club wants to retain key players to make a strong impact in Africa. Amoah played a crucial role in helping Kotoko win their 10th FA Cup title, triumphing over Golden Kick FC.
His contract with Kotoko is set to expire in the summer of 2027.
The Porcupine Warriors will likely prioritize keeping Amoah and other top players to achieve their continental goals.
The decision will depend on the club’s priorities and Amoah’s willingness to stay or leave. Kotoko’s ambitions in Africa will be a key factor in determining Amoah’s future.
