Ghanaian winger Christopher Bonsu Baah has delivered a heartfelt message to his old club KRC Genk ahead of his unveiling at Saudi club Al Qadsiah.
Baah joins Qadsiah in a deal worth over €15 million after signing a four-year contract.
The 20-year-old bid an emotional farewell to his former club, KRC Genk, where he made 90 appearances, scoring five goals and providing seven assists.
“I’m proud to have played 90 matches for this incredible club. I’ve enjoyed every single day, every single minute of it. From today on, I’ll be your biggest fan,” Bonsu Baah said in a heartfelt message to Genk fans.
Bonsu Baah’s rise to prominence began with a move from Shooting Stars to Sarpsborg in Norway, before joining Genk, where he beat off interest from top clubs like Barcelona and Manchester United.
He has recently debuted for the Black Stars, marking a significant milestone in his career.
The young player’s new deal with Al Qadsiah runs until 2029, and he is expected to be unveiled by the club on July 9.
