Ghanaian centre-forward Christian Godson has joined Spanish club CD Guijuelo from CD Numancia on loan, completing a move that runs until 30 June 2027.
The 20-year-old made the switch on 27 August 2026 and will return to Numancia at the end of the loan. Godson remains contracted to Numancia during the arrangement, with his current deal expiring on 30 June 2027.
Godson joins Guijuelo after moving into Numancia’s first team at the start of the 2026-27 season. He had previously played for Numancia B, having stepped up from the club’s Under-19 side in January 2025.
The forward began his time in Spain after leaving Ghanaian club Dansoman Wise for Numancia’s Under-19 team in July 2024. That move marked the start of his progression through the Spanish club’s youth and senior structures.
Godson’s recorded senior appearances include seven matches in Segunda Federacion – Group I, where he has played 82 minutes, as well as one Copa del Rey appearance lasting 45 minutes. He has also been listed in connection with the promotion play-offs for the Primera Federacion.
At Guijuelo, Godson will add another centre-forward option to the squad while continuing his development in Spanish football. His move also represents a change of club within the Spanish game after his progression from Numancia’s academy setup to its senior side.
The transfer is a loan and includes a scheduled return to Numancia when the agreement ends on 30 June 2027. No transfer fee has been disclosed for the move.
Godson, who was born on 2 January 2006, becomes a Guijuelo player for the 2026-27 campaign after completing his temporary switch from Numancia.
