The final funeral rites of the late Christian Atsu Twasam will be held on Friday, March 17, at the forecourt of the state house.
The announcement was made by the family during his one week observation which is currently underway at the Adjiringanor Astro Turf.
The Government of Ghana through the Sports Ministry have agreed to bear the entire cost of the funeral.
The 31 year old was found dead under the rubble in his home in southern Turkey following the devastating earthquake on Monday, February 6, 2023.
His mortal remains was returned to Accra, Ghana on Sunday, February 19, 2023.
Christian Atsu played 65 times for Ghana and helped the Black Stars reach the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations final in Equatorial Guinea.
