In the upcoming days, Ghana’s coach Chris Hughton is set to unveil his squad for the final match of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The Black Stars are poised to face the Central African Republic on September 7, 2023, at the Baba Yara Stadium, with both teams vying for qualification.
As per local media reports, the manager is expected to name 26-man squad for the crucial encounter.
Additionally, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has organized a friendly match between the Black Stars and the Lone Stars of Liberia.
The game against the Lone Stars is scheduled to take place at the Accra Sports Stadium, five days after the AFCON qualifier against CAR.
In preparation for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers and the AFCON tournament in Ivory Coast, the GFA has also successfully secured two high-profile friendlies for the national team.
The Black Stars are slated to face Mexico on October 14 at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, followed by a match against the USA on October 17 in America.
