Despite the heartbreaking performance against United States of America, coach Chris Hughton still tips himself the right man for the Black Stars coaching job.
The four-time Afcon winners succumbed to a 4-0 defeat at the hands of USA at the GEODIS Park in Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday.
Brace from Giovanni Reyna and and strikes from Christian Pulisic and Folarin Balogun handed USA the upper hand over Ghana.
It is now back to back defeats for Hughton in this month’s international break.
“If you ask me if I feel like I’m the right person for this job, the answer is yes,” Hughton said.
The Black Stars will be back in action next month for the start of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
