Black Stars coach Chris Hughton has handed a late call-up to Kingsley Schindler as a replacement for the injured Tariq Lamptey in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers squad.
Tariq was named part of the 25-man squad but could not honour the invitation after he sustained a knock in the clash against West Ham on March 4.
Schindler has been chosen to fill in his boots and the German born player is expected to join the team soon for preparations towards the clash against Angola.
The 29-year-old who is yet to feature for Ghana, has 20 appearances in the Bundesliga this term.
Ghana are scheduled to host Angola at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi on March 23 and the second leg set for Luanda four days later.
