Ghanaian football administrator Samuel Oduro Nyarko has stated emphatically that it will be difficult for the Ghana Football Association to manipulate Black Stars head coach, Chris Hughton.
Hughton was named as the new gaffer for the next 21 months following the resignation of Otto Addo after Ghana’s 2022 FIFA World Cup campaign.
The Kurt Okraku-led administration has been accused of player imposition for the senior national team.
“Hughton is the man who cannot be manipulated, he is good,” Samuel told Citi Sports.
“I think that he is the one who will stick to his guns and not allow himself to be manipulated.”
Hughton started his Black Stars job on a good note winning 2-1 in an AFCON qualifiers double-header against Angola.
