Chelsea’s Emma Hayes has been named as the Barclays FA Women’s Super League Manager of the Season for 2021/22.
Hayes led the Blues to yet another title win, becoming the first team in team in the WSL era to claim a third consecutive league title.
It is also a third successive Manager of the Season award for Hayes, who scooped the prize in 2019/20 and 2020/21.
The 45-year-old was also named Manager of the Year for the WSL at the League Managers Association awards on Tuesday night.
It was a double victory for the London club as Sam Kerr was also named the WSL Player of the Season.
The 28-year-old adds the accolade to the WSL Player of the Year recognition won at the London Football Awards as well as receiving the Football Writers’ Association Women’s Player of the Year award.
Kerr netted 20 times in 20 appearances in the league this season, which saw her win the Golden Boot award for the second-consecutive year.
Kerr’s terrific strike against Manchester United on the final day of the season has also been voted as WSL Goal of the Season.
