Following a disappointing 2-1 defeat to Nsoatreman FC, former Berekum Chelsea midfielder Charles Asampong Taylor has advised Asante Kotoko SC head coach Prosper Nartey Ogum to resign and save his reputation.
The Porcupine Warriors are struggling to find form, failing to secure a victory in their last six matches of the ongoing Ghana Premier League campaign.
The match against Nsoatreman FC was marked by an opening goal from Abdul Manaf, with Shadrack Addo equalizing before halftime. However, a late strike from Mohammed Abdul Rahaman clinched the win for Nsoatreman FC.
“It is very worrying not to have a management team at this team,” he told Asempa FM.
“The IMC is not helping the team because the composition is even not good but then Otumfuo in his wisdom think it is good for the club but with the performance of Prosper Narteh Ogum, I think it will be better for him to resign from the club to save his reputation,” he added
The Kumasi-based club is eager to return to winning ways as they prepare to face Dreams FC in Dawu this Sunday afternoon.
Asante Kotoko currently sits 10th in the Ghana Premier League standings with 33 points, just one point ahead of their rivals Hearts of Oak after 25 games.
